The Pro-Forme Solid Shafts
form the foundation of the Woodcut Pro-Forme Solid Hollowing System. Built from heavy-duty 5/8" solid steel, they provide exceptional strength, reduced vibration, and excellent control for larger hollow forms and end grain hollowing.
Available in Straight, Slightly Bent, and Bent
profiles, each shaft has been designed for a specific stage of the hollowing process, allowing you to choose the shaft best suited to the shape and depth of your vessel.
These shafts are supplied without a cutter, making them an economical way to expand your Pro-Forme system. If you already own a 1/2" Pro-Forme Powerhead, you can simply move it between shafts as required. As your workshop grows, additional Powerheads can be added so each shaft is ready to use.

– ideal for traditional and shear scraping, producing an exceptionally smooth finish while reducing sanding.
Little Wonder Cup Tool
– perfect for finishing cuts, refining the bottom of vessels, and working in highly figured or burred timber.
Simply change the head as your project develops without needing to purchase multiple complete tools.

Straight Shaft
Designed to produce the opening and remove wood down the sides and across the bottom of the vessel.
Slightly Bent Shaft
Ideal for removing wood from the upper walls of the hollow form.

Designed for removing wood from the shoulder and controlled cutting beneath the shoulder.
