The Simple 3-Step Sharpening Solution
Set the tool protrusion
– 50 mm (2 inches).
Set the tool holder leg
– adjust to your chosen bevel angle.
Set the base slide

Record these three numbers on your Repeatability Chart(included in your user guide) to repeat the exact bevel angle every time - simple, accurate, and consistent.

In the 1990s, Ken Port
designed the original Tru-Grind to simplify sharpening for turners everywhere. Loved for over 25 years, it became one of the most widely used sharpening systems in woodturning. In 2020, Woodcut Tools began developing a higher-spec system based on global turner feedback.
