The Woodcut Tools Pro-Forme Solid 1/2" Powerhead Hook Cutter is a genuine replacement cutter for the Pro-Forme Solid Powerhead, designed to restore the outstanding cutting performance of your Pro-Forme Solid Hollowing System.

The distinctive cutter profile is an evolution of the traditional hook tool, refined over many years through customer feedback and practical woodturning experience. Its narrow nose efficiently cuts end grain, while the broad cutting edge quickly removes side grain and leaves an excellent finish directly from the tool. Combined with the tall bevel profile, the cutter allows the turner to roll smoothly on and off the cut, producing controlled, flowing shavings rather than dust.

Manufactured from M2 High Speed Steel, each cutter is hollow ground, triple tempered, and supplied sharpened and ready to use.

Sharpening

The cutter is easily maintained using a Woodcut Credit Card Diamond Hone or fine diamond file. When sharpening, maintain the original hollow-ground profile for optimum cutting performance.
