The Woodcut Bowlsaver Max4 is a strong, versatile bowl coring system, giving you the flexibility to choose the coring capacity that's right for you and your lathe.

Choose the Max4 Starter with Small and Large blades for bowls from 3" to 12" in diameter, or add the Max Blade for greater coring capacity, allowing you to core bowls up to 18" in diameter.

It's all built around the same Max4 platform, so if you choose the Starter and later want to core larger bowls, simply purchase the Max Blade and add it to your existing system. Nothing else is required.

The Max4 Starter includes the Small and Large blades with precision-sharpened Stellite cutters.

A complete bowl coring solution in its own right, the Max4 Starter is ideal for turners who don't require the additional capacity of the Max Blade.

Already own the Max4 Starter? The Max Blade can be purchased separately and added directly to your existing Max4 system. No additional platform or components are required.

ACCURATE, REPEATABLE RESULTS
Like all Woodcut Bowlsavers, the cutter returns to the same position when re-entering the cut, helping maintain a consistent bowl shape as you remove each core.

STRONG, STABLE PLATFORM
The Max4 platform is precision-machined from cast aluminium and steel and anodised for durability, providing a strong and stable setup for coring both wet and dry timber.

TAILSTOCK SUPPORTED
A machined No. 2 Morse Taper and 3/8"-16 threaded rod connect the system securely to the lathe tailstock, creating a strong, rigid platform.

COMFORTABLE, EXTENDABLE HANDLE
Supplied with a 20" steel handle featuring a foam grip for comfort and control. The extension spigot allows a second Woodcut handle to be added if additional leverage is required.

MAX BLADE ADVANTAGE
When the Max Blade is added, its uniquely concave design is guided by a roller and supported by a steel post to help prevent twisting under heavy load. No additional tool rest is required.
