This cutter can be used as traditional scrapers or positioned at an angle to achieve a shear cut, producing an ultra smooth surface that significantly reduces sanding time. They are an essential addition for achieving refined, professional finishes in hollowing work.
This asymmetric hollowing scraper features two distinct cutting radii. By simply rotating the tool, the turner can move between stable material removal and precise finishing. The offset geometry improves control inside the vessel, reduces catches, and produces a cleaner internal surface.
